The WWVi Model UAV Lab

So in talking to my friend Mark over at flitelab.com about this frame, he suggested I throw a cheap heli landing gear on it to give it minimal ground clearance and deal with the sliht alignment issue on some of these frames. He was right of course and it worked. 

Thats a good question, and I have yet to get it working correctly. So in an effort to do so, this will serve as a possible recipie for someone else.

First off, I bought the AntennaTracking Kit for EagleEyes from Readymade RC. Read more about it!

Built it and mounted it, and added my EagleEyes FPV Station by EagleTree Read more about that!

I really liked the feel and response and even the sound of the Tiger Motors on RD27 - Ninja, so I bought the same motors to put on RD30 The Ninja Turtle.

The main standoffs are setup for KK/MK style 45 mm - 45 degree mounting, and RD33 was using an OpenPilot CC3D last so it has been adapted down to 30.5 mm and 0 degree offset . I tried putting an AGL Hobbies aka Rusty universal 45mm-30.5 adapter, but that seems like a waste of adapters.

 so I started over with only the universal adapter and went from 45mm 45 degree to 45mm 0 degree.

So my TMFs Came in from Flitelab.com, and I put one back into Aqua :)

I installed the board after redrilling one of the corner holes that seems a bit too small for some reason, and then secured it with a few nylon nuts.

After I built my Antenna Tracker, I decided to start getting the most out of it and taking advantage of it. RoboCam records my FPV flights of the Onboard FPV cam and OSD, and at the same time captures video/stills of myself and my aircraft while I fly!

So Now the antenna tracker hosts two Mini monitors, DVR, And of course the HD Keychain camera, running the whole thing into RoboCam. 

Laid out all the parts for this build, But need to drill motor plates 

In classic hoverthings style, I opened the HT-FPV frame kit and found a german engineered wiha precision 1/16th inch hex driver in the kit. Tom simply rocks!.

Strait forward build following the included directions (Sort of)
