We start this session laying out all the components. We have used the Quadrixette Nano frame from eyefly.info and the landing gear from an align trex 250. The motors are  A1510 2200KV and the ESCs are from hobbyking - Turnigy Plush 6a.

Then we mark the aluminum arms for driling

Then we drill them,

I used 1/8 for the bolt holes, 5/32 for the motor shaft, and 3/16 for under motor mount holes.

Then we attach the arms

Complete

Warning, do not, repeat: DO NOT cut down the wires on these motors, they are made of a strange wire with odd insulation, if you do, it is almost impossible to retin the wires and make the solder stick, I learned my lesson after it took me 1hour to solder the plug onto the motor, I left the other 3 at full length. In this shot I have cut them very short thinking ti would be easy to tin them.it was 99% impossible.

[inline:img_2369.jpg]

Soldering the full length ones was easy in comparison

[inline:img_2370.jpg]

All motors soldered

Calibrating throttle on the ESCs and testing each for full operation.

[inline:img_2372.jpg]

one DSM2 4ch rx and 4 ESCs ready for mounting

This is the curent state of the model as we wait for jan 3 for the post office to open soI can collect the flight controller for this model.
